Banned! The History and Ongoing Impact of Book Censorship Against Authors of Color
Part of the Hekman Connections seminar series
Dr. Eric Washington will present on the development and effects of censorship efforts, through book challenges and removals, against authors of color, with specific focus on Toni Morrison's works and advocacy against book banning.
